ABOUT THE ROLE.

We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced Geophysical Reports Coordinator / Data Manager to join our vibrant team of 40 professionals. This role presents an exciting opportunity to be a key contributor in the creation of geophysical reports for our larger projects.

The successful candidate will bring a minimum of 5 years of geophysical field experience, coupled with a degree in geophysics. A strong understanding of Side Scan Sonar (SSS), Potential fields (MAG), Multi-Beam Echo Sounder (MBES), Sub-Bottom Profiler (SBP), and Seismic data sets is essential. While Thai nationals are preferred due to the role’s location in Thailand, we encourage applications from candidates of diverse backgrounds who meet the qualifications. This position will play a pivotal role in our fast-moving and dynamic team, reporting to both the Project Manager and Senior Team Leaders.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

  • Collaborate closely with project teams and geophysicists to manage, organise, and process geophysical data collected during field operations.
  • Utilise expertise in SSS, MAG, MBES, SBP, and Seismic data sets to create detailed and coherent geophysical reports for larger projects.
  • Ensure the accuracy, technical integrity, and formatting consistency of report content, adhering to company standards and best practices.
  • Review and validate raw data and processed results to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Effectively communicate complex geophysical concepts and technical information in written reports that are comprehensible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather supplementary data, charts, and visuals that enhance the clarity and impact of reports.
  • Manage the storage, organisation, and accessibility of geophysical data and reports, facilitating efficient retrieval and future reference.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet deadlines and contribute to the success of projects.
  • Provide support to senior geophysicists and project managers, including data analysis, interpretation, and other technical tasks.
  • Contribute insights and improvements to report creation processes based on advancements in geophysical technologies and methodologies.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, collaborating effectively within the team and across departments.
  • Display a proactive approach and willingness to assist wherever needed, reflecting the team’s fast-paced and dynamic environment.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS.

  • A minimum of 5 years of geophysical field experience showcasing a deep understanding of data acquisition, processing, and interpretation.
  • A Bachelor’s or higher degree in Geophysics or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Side Scan Sonar, Magnetics, MBES, SBP, and Seismic data sets, with a solid grasp of associated data processing techniques.
  • Exceptional English language skills, either native or with fluency equivalent to native, allowing for clear and concise technical report writing.
  • Proficient in geophysical software tools and data analysis methodologies.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage data and report creation effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling successful collaboration within teams and with stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in creating geophysical reports is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment.
  • Thai nationals are preferred due to the role’s location, but we welcome applications from diverse backgrounds.
