Our dedicated team member, Chadaporn (Ob), began her career at Ocean Geophysics after earning her Bachelor’s in Geology from Chulalongkorn University. Following an impressive journey, which included receiving a highly competitive scholarship from the Thai Government and completing a master’s degree in Geological Sciences at Ohio University in the USA, she returned to Thailand to work as a Professional Level Geologist at the Department of Groundwater Resources.
Her responsibilities involved leading field resistivity surveys and borehole studies to provide clean water access to remote Thai communities. Chadaporn’s strong background in electrical resistivity seamlessly transitioned her into the role of a marine geophysicist at Ocean Geophysics. Since joining Ocean Geophysics, Chadaporn has not only become a compassionate team leader but also progressed to being one of the lead reports coordinators, contributing significantly to our team’s success.
Raphiphan (Gog) is an immensely driven Geophysicist who embarked on a journey with Ocean Geophysics to tackle more substantial challenges within the marine geophysics arena. He has a solid educational background focusing on Geosciences and earned his Master’s degree in Geotechnical and Earth Resources Engineering (GTE) from the Asian Institute of Technology in 2021.
Gog’s passion lies in marine geophysical data processing, including expertise in Marine magnetic survey, Side Scan Sonar, and interpreting Sub-bottom profiler data. His extensive experience in geological and geotechnical investigations related to significant projects in Thailand has inspired and dedicated the Ocean Geophysics team as we strive to excel in our industry.
Notably, Gog was among the pioneering members of Ocean Geophysics, and his dedication and leadership have propelled him into the role of a team leader. He also contributes significantly as one of our offshore team members, proficient in mobilizing small vessels for specialized operations.
