ABOUT THE ROLE.

We are searching for a talented and experienced Project Manager to become an integral member of our senior team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of geophysical data processing projects.

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage and coordinate project teams effectively.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

  • Project Management: Manage and oversee multiple geophysical data processing projects concurrently, ensuring they are executed efficiently, within scope, and delivered on time and within budget.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring clear communication regarding project progress, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate closely with the data specialists responsible for each data subset, coordinating their efforts, and ensuring seamless communication between the processing team and clients.
  • Scope Management: Understand each clients unique SOW and manage projects accordingly, including identifying and mitigating risks, issues, and scope changes as needed.
  • Project Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports.
  • Quality Control: Oversee the quality control process to ensure that the processed geophysical data meets or exceeds client expectations and industry standards.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively to meet project demands and optimize team performance.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, keeping projects on track.
  • Reporting: Provide regular project updates to the Director of Operations and COO, reporting on project status, milestones achieved, and any deviations from the project plan.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., project management, geophysics, engineering, or related disciplines).
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in a reputable company, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects.
  • Strong project management skills, including project planning, risk management, and budget control
